I had the honour of first meeting Danny a few years ago & since then became great friends. He was a massive influence not only my life but to those that knew him. We was always joking & laughing we would always argue about rugby & who's the best. Sleep peacefully my friend.

I had the pleasure of meeting Danny during his 'induction and introduction' tour with Richard Hayes when he first joined Edbro. From that moment forth, we became friends and he never popped in without the essential packet of chocolate Hob Nobs. After all these years, he still comes to mind whenever I see chocolate Hob Nobs, and this will continue forever. I also had the pleasure of bumping into him at last years Motor Transport Awards, a big bear hug and a few reminicent stories. He will be sorely missed by our Commercial Vehicle sector let alone his family and friends. My condolences to all his immediate family and close friends.

Danny was my son-in-law I was so happy when he asked Carlie to marry him, my daughter was very excited you could see the love they both have for each other and have been since getting married it hurts me so much to see my daughter hurt so much he was a wonderful guy that would do anything for anybody. I'm so sorry my wonderful daughter that you had to go through this I wish I could take it all away. My thoughts and love are with you and my grandchildren and great grandson. He was a great son-in-law.God bless my prayers are with you all. X

Unfortunately due to a family funeral on the same I can’t attend Danny’s Celebration of Life.
I would have dearly loved to attend to help Celebrate this remarkable man.
I have known Danny through business for over 20 years and can wholeheartedly say he was always a pleasure to deal with and was always great company and always smiling.
Our thoughts are with Carlie and family and all of Danny’s friends and family.
Danny will stay in our thoughts and prayers forever.
Rest in Peace my friend. X

I had the pleasure of working with Danny at Jost / Edbro, Danny was a great person and one I enjoyed working alongside.
As well as being a colleague, in the years since I left Edbro, Danny remained in contact with me.
He always took the time to ask how family life was and we used to laugh about his Nerf Wars with the boys!
I was gutted to hear the news of his passing.
My thoughts are with his family.
Danny was a true gentlemen and is a huge loss to the world.

When I retired from Edbro in 2007 Danny replaced me.
I went out with him to introduce him to our major customers. It was very much evident that Edbro had made a very good choice.
Virtually within minutes of meeting him he told me he was engaged to Carlie and about Nathan and Chantelle. It was obvious he thought the world of them. They got married and Jack and Alfie were born.
Danny progressed with Edbro, but when Jost took Edbro over they realised his full potential, and he progressed to MD.
We used to meet up occasionally with Peter Angell for a ‘catch up’.
We were due to meet on 10th April. Sadly it could not happen.
Danny was one of the most sincere and honest people I have met.
My thoughts are with his Mum and Dad, Carlie and all the family.
Rest in peace Danny
