I didn’t know Des well, we just used to chat as I was walking my dog down the lane. Such a lovely chap, always had time to talk, always good humoured. My dog Cassie always wagged her tail when she saw him. Sending my thoughts and condolences to Pat and the family. I am missing our little chats. RIP Des.

Watched Des race F1 stock cars long before I met him, when I sold him a car in the 90’s. We kept in touch over the years. Couldn’t wish to meet a nicer person. Condolences to Pat and family, he will be sadly missed.
