Messages Of Condolence

Julie was a wonderful, kind, caring and supportive human being. She enriched our lives and was compassionate about the children and young people she worked with. Julie always had a warm smile with a reassuring manner and was respectful in her approach with anyone she encountered.
Julie is truly missed, when I see a glistening and vibrant star in the sky it will always remind me of her. My heartfelt condolences to the family and Rob. XX

I met Julie years ago through work and felt like I had met a kindred spirit. Her kindness and compassion were always present as was the wicked sense of humour. I will remember our conversations, the words of wisdom and the laughs especially our get togethers in Edinburgh, the coffee, cakes and dancing in Dumfries and Galloway and the time we went walking in the Yorkshire Dales. Sending love ❤

We have had the pleasure of knowing Julie (and Rob) both through Mapperley tennis club and NCC. Julie was extremely kind and patient to my girls when helping them to play tennis and we all remember her extremely fondly despite the girls being much younger when she helped them, which demonstrates how special she is, we will miss you xxx

Julie was a most kind, supportive and skilled work colleague, from which a lovely friendship grew especially following her illness given a resulting shared connection. I have the most lovely memories, including the day not too long ago when we giggled and giggled over a coffee and cake; how I wish we had the chance for more of those special times. I will miss you so very much Julie. My heartfelt condolences to your family, partner, friends and colleagues xx

I met Julie through Mapperley Park Tennis Club in Nottingham, and she rapidly became part of the ladies group and we had some great lunches out. Julie was such a strong supporter of the Arts, being an artist herself and a member of the Nottingham Society of Artists, attending weekly classes, and exhibiting her work there. We went to several exhibitions at the University Art Gallery and some music recitals at the University Music Department. Julie was very supportive of my teenage daughter who was developing her music performances at that time, and she came with us every month to the Open Mic at David Lloyd to watch her play. Julie just loved the arts generally and in particular the Edinburgh Fringe. She was a gentle soul, with boundless energy, and an infectious laugh. She was a good and loyal friend. She will be greatly missed.
