Of Barwell. Passed away peacefully at home on the 16th October 2018, aged 95 years. Reunited with her loving husband Albert. A much loved mother of John, Jean, Ian, Lydia and Jane, mother in law to Rosemary, Louise, Phil and Nigel, and a devoted grandma and big grandma. Much loved and sadly missed. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday 30th October 2018 at Barwell Methodist Chapel at 1:00pm. No flowers by request. Donations are being raised in memory of Lydia, payable to 'Client Charitable Donations Fund' which will forwarded onto Rainbows Hospice & Hinckley Girl Guides Association c/o G. Seller

The earth has lost a wonderful lady but heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Lydia Marriott has made an impression on me since the day I met her. Every time I visited her, she made me feel very welcome and loved. I will miss her and especially will miss her hand written cards and letters in the mail.
