Pete has known Penny since she met Peter way back. And I have known Penny for 23 years. We saw her last November on the way back from Scotland, for her first break without Peter. Then at the end of January we had a lovely two days aren't together in Statford on Avon, seeing Midsummer Nights Dream. So glad we did this and sad beyond words to lose our sweet , kind and clever friend.

I ve known Penny since I was 2 years. She always looked out for me when dragged through puddles as a kid, falling through dutch lights and later at University. I miss her as I would a sister. Snatched too soon from us all. It s their children and immediate family for whom I pray- that they may be comforted.

R.I.P. cousin. We lost touch over the years after being so close as youngsters. I have great memories of you going back over 60 years.

Penny was a governor at Sharnford Primary and All Saints Primary for many years, and her vast experience, knowledge, and common sense approach combined to support our schools in so many ways. However, Penny will forever be close to our hearts here at Sharnford Primary for the time and attention she gave to our children, and for the advice, kindness and understanding she continually showed to the staff here. She will be greatly missed by us all and our thoughts and prayers are with Penny's family at this time.

Thinking of you all.

We were so sorry to hear of Penny's passing. It was a very sad day for everyone who knew, admired and loved her.
We were expecting to be able to make many more memories in the future.
We will always be grateful to Penny and Peter for welcoming Jonathan so readily into the Ross household.
Rest in peace knowing that you will never be forgotten.
With love from the Waller family.
