Such a pleasure working with Peter, a wonderful character who brightened up every room he walked in to. I loved listening to his stories and life experiences. I will forever cherish the time together. Sending my love and condolences to all the family and friends. Always in our hearts.

Peter,

I remember so well the fun we all had as children playing together at our Nan and Grandads house in Enfield. I think we actually made our Grandad quite angry once which was very unusual. We refused to go to sleep.
I am so sorry that we lost touch after they passed away, but life and families it seems are complicated.
I will no doubt see you on the other side.

Had the pleasure and privilege of working with Peter a unique character who was professional hard working and stuck to his principles he came over to Wales to see us and brought an expensive bottle of wine to which I said Id take it to the curry house you can imagine his reaction. Wicked sense of humour sadly missed RIP

Peter had an amazing repertoire of his life experiences, often highly amusing. When entertaining he always liked to source the best produce and wines and no visit to the house was complete without some musical accompaniment and he always enjoyed testing your knowledge.

So very sad that Peter is no longer with us and he will be greatly missed by us. Rest in peace our dear friend.

Dear old "Jeffers", we met on my first shifts at the old Hinckley nick. We shared good times and bad, our career paths went different ways but we always kept in touch . Peter and Angela were a great source of support in 20210 for the next ten years and I will never forget the generous and genuinely funny guy sometimes called "Strawb" at work but strenuously denied(I'm raspberry blonde" he insisted.. Hard working an strong and upright chap who had principles and stuck to them, no matter what.. Rest in peace old chap.

Once in a lifetime someone comes along who turns your life upside down in the most wonderful way. I was so lucky to have shared 44 years with you. I could not have wished for a more caring, loving husband. My best friend and the kindest, most generous man I have ever known.
I miss you so much Peter but you will remain forever in my heart.

Sweet dreams.rest in peace.

During our early years life was a bit of a rollercoaster and very stressful at times, but through it all you were there for us. You stepped up and took on the role to support, encourage and protect your little sisters, the best big brother we could have wished for. As the years passed and we spread our wings we knew you were still there to support us, in the good times with fun and laughter and navigating difficult times with love, support and advice. No words can express how much I will miss you, forever in my heart.

Peter, you were a one off, a gentleman & it was my pleasure & honour to have been your friend for the last 44 years. Ill miss your stories, which I heard numerous times, you saying to me youll never beat the Jeffers when I surprised you with an unusual bottle of wine & you named the grape variety, the country & vineyard of origin. Im grateful for all the happy memories, the fun times we had together, your generosity & the kindness.

Peter, what can I say... did not know you for very long but you had a big impact on me with your stories at your door.
I enjoyed listening to your life stories and must admit I did walk away thinking what a life you have had. I'm sure you will be telling them where you are now and everyone else will be thinking the same.
You rest in peace Peter.

My wonderful brother. You gave me happy times and were always full of fun ,stories and making us laugh. I would never have been ready to let you go . What will we all do without you in out lives. In the words of Elton John ' Life is a delicate thing'. Now like the skyline pigeon you need to spread you wings and fly away towards the things you left so very far behind. Your Sister Sarah and family will hold you in their hearts for ever. Xxx

A true friend for over 50 years, with plenty of laughs and stories along the way. Music was the common thread that ran through our lives, so thank you Peter for all the songs, concerts and memories. We will miss you.
